Where is jan?

Sorry I have been quiet all week... Took Kristin to Wichita last weekend and jumped right into band camp this week. I am booster president so there is lots to keep me busy. In addition all my new product arrived so I have been unpacking, sorting and just oohing and aahing. In addition there is a big team event on the 23rd followed by a DIVA slumber party so I have been working on ideas, and more for those events.

My customers are always welcome at my events as guests. Please contact me if you are ever interested in attending.

Kristin in her new room - The furniture we found on clearance at Nebraska furniture mart - we stumbled on it as we were leaving the Kansas airport. The picture I should have taken was 4 suitcases, a french horn and this patio furniture in the back of our rental car - a PT Cruiser - we did it though!

Greg is senior drum major this year. The Blue Crue sound strong after just one week. It is already shaping up to be an awesome year!

New 2008 Fall Winter Catalog goodies - I h ave been planning fall events - I hope to have the schedule through December posted this week. Stay tuned so that you can play with what is in the boxes!

One of my new toys - took a quick trip to AC Moore today and picked up a few things to run through it. The BIG SHOT can cut over 50 types of materials!! WOW - how is that for versatility. I have already try metal, fabric and acetate. Now on to my new purchases.

Dreams DeJour

Now that convention is over - watch for great announcement (BIG SALE COMING), fun samples and more. Here are is another idea to tide you over as a I load pictures into snapfish and my computer.

This fun page was part of my Sample day. It features our Dreams DeJour Stamp set, Red Riding Hood, Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette CS. New Scallop Edge Punch, New Bella Rose DSP. Enjoy.

 

DECOR ELEMENTS Not just for Walls

Stampin 'UP! announced Phase 2 of the Decor elements to debut soon. Can't wait to show you the great designs and all the fun holiday ideas. From spooky candy jars to advent calendars. Two step decor designs and COLORS.  Make sure you watch the calendar for great classes.

Here is a fun project with decor elements. We received a FREE sample with our Stampin' SUccess newsletter and I wasn't sure what to do with it. I decided to create a custom bag. It was really easy to apply. I just placed a clipboard inside to give me a firm surface and applied just as you would on a wall. It is stuck fast and no sealing is required.

Can't wait to make a monogram bag and more projects. I love crafting and this is right up my alley.
